Professional Photography
We can provide our photography services in many different locations, including in our custom-designed studio, which features traditional photography areas as well as window-light areas and an outdoor photography area.

We also often travel to our clients' homes to take more personalized portraits in their home environments, as well as to a variety of outdoor locations throughout northern California for both portraiture and special events photography.

We are also available to travel outside of the Sacramento Valley/Sierra Foothills areas for a small travel fee.

Custom Printing
Our studio provides the highest quality printing services for our photographs, and we also offer traditional retouching of your photographs as well as digital retouching (as needed, as there is an additional charge for the service).

We have hand-picked the best photo labs to print our color and black-and-white photographs, as well as our beloved watercolor portraits.

Special Treatments
Add a creative flair to your portrait by changing it from color to black and white or a warm tone sepia (left), black and white with hand tinting (center), or a watercolor treatment (right). Click on one of the photos below to view a larger version in a different browser tab.

Framing and Unique Presentations
Our studio offers both ready-made frames and custom framing for your portraits. We also have available unique mats (including suede and those with a faux finish look) and filet inserts to give your portrait a very finished, custom look.

We can also help you select framing products to match your existing framed portraits or artwork -- or even to match your furniture or decorating style. Turnaround times for our framing services range from 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the type of framing you order.

Reflections by Michelle Lipowski can acquire for you a variety of presentation products, such as small to large easels, photographic panel displays, mounted photo boxes, and music boxes. We also offer an extensive variety of portait display albums in a wide range of prices.

We also offer the cretion of a photo CD set to music for your images from a single portrait session or special event, or from a series of portait sessions (such as with our Watch Me Grow program).

Additional Services
We also offer, upon request, posting of your images on our lab Web site so your family and friends outside the area can view your images. There is a slight additional charge for this service.

How to Enhance the Presentation of Your Portraits

There are many ways to enhance the presentation of your portraits. Here are a few we suggest:

Portraits albums, ranging in size from 4 x 6 to 11 x 14. Our studio offers both traditional type albums, as well as our contemporary magazine style albums. Albums can be used to highlight portraits of families, children, high school seniors, weddings and special events. They make wonderful birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, anniversary, and holiday gifts.

Framing can really enhance the look of a portrait or portraits. We offer traditional wall portrait framing (11 x 14 size and up), as well as wall folios. Wall folios hold as few as two and as many as 9 portraits ranging in size from 4 x 6 to 8 x 10. Wall folios are like a traditional mat and frame combination with multiple openings in the mat to show each portrait off individually, yet in a custom designed combination.

Portrait collages are portraits digitally combined together to create an art piece for you, your family and friends to enjoy. Collages can be created for display as small as 8 x 10 and up. You can add the person's name or names on the collage (or even the age, in the case of a Watch Me Grow portrait presentation). The background of the collage can be one of the portraits, or it can be a color matched to one of the portraits. Collages are awesome and make great gifts. We can also create custom photo CDs or DVDs featuring your favorite portraits from your portrait session or event. These make very affordable gifts.

Watch Me Grow Portrait Program for Newborns to Toddlers
Receive five specially-priced protrait sessions and portraits over a two year time period. Portraits are taken in the convenience of our portrait studio and you may choose from many varieties of backgrounds, props, and themes.

Other family member are welcome to join your baby in their portrait session.

Choose from either 1 5" x 7" to be included with each session, or 1 8" x 10" per session. Additional reprints may also be ordered.
